Of Late

Nothing interesting happened the past week, other than positivity that suddenly came injecting into my life.

When you have all the positivity inside you, you feel nothing is impossible. Everyday you wake up feeling all good and geared up...and you are all brand new you..EVERYDAY!! All the white matter in your brain is firing on all cylinders, and everything that you do seem to have a goal.

Eventually everything will go your way and at the end of the day, you will always thank the Almighty for all the blessings that He gave.

Have you ever waken up in the morning, feeling sorrow and lazy to go to work? And all you ever wish for is to continue hibernating inside the duvet, and dream all you can dream of??...

If you have rather similar feelings, well...wake up now baby!!! It's time for a change, and find something that you like...something that can give you satisfaction. You can't go on doing things that you don't enjoy..it's a waste of time!!

Early this year I took a risk, and ALHAMDULILLAH, so far the path seems to show a bright light. Recently, I met people who are unafraid of the unknown,  hardworking, achieving what they want in life and who doesn't shy away from challenges. I was inspired. Getting to know people from all walks of life, meeting up clients who are very enthusiastic, and knowing that I now have a side income, Alhamdulillah..it's all I can say.

I lost 1 kg in a month. It might be a small number to some of you, but not me! Haha..it equals to 1000g okayy ;p Without any vigorous exercise or dietary supplement, I'm kinda satisfied with it. The stubborn fats are more equally distributed..yayy!...

Like I said in my previous post, I still enjoy good food :)

Oh...I was a bit surprised to see the lack of quality in the food at Chillis nowadays. Can you see the vegetables??

Carrot and kacang buncissss???!!!
Where's the broccolis???
Where's the mushrooms???
Where's the capsicums and whatnot??
Where's my yummy gravy on top of the mashed potatoes???
Apa niiii??..terkejut tengok.

For the past 8 years being a loyal fan of their Lamb Shoulder and Southwestern Grilled Lamb, I have never encountered such rubbish a lack of effort being put into their dish. Echoing the words of Gordon Ramsay "the food lacks passion" plus some other obscene words..(hehehehe)..Frustrating right?..pftt!..

But yeah, thank God husband was being such a sweet company the other day ;p

Can't get enough of lamb, cari pulak lamb mandy dekat Rawsha.

Lamb mandy, Hummus with lamb, lamb kebab, and my all time favourite, Arayes...fuhhh...sedap!!

Nice build up and architecture, but it was kinda humid during the daytime...

For those who is on diet, fret not... I did some reading on the internet that even though you're on a diet control, in a week you should have at least 2 days of "eating day", means you can wallop just ANYTHING you want without feeling any guilt...ANYTHING OK!!!

Now I'm excited for a weekend outing at Changkat. Will do reviews if I find the food is good.

Till then.

Premium Beautiful corset-In My Own Words

You read the title clearly.... ;)

Yesss...I've been trying out the Premium Beautiful (PB) corset for the past 1 month and loving it to bits!!!!!

I first knew about the corset long time ago, but was a bit skeptical to try it on.

The urge to really try out this corset came after I met my long lost friend, Maisarah Ibrahim, who is also a successful businesswoman (just by selling off this product), and she herself had been using the corset for the past 6 years. Oh my!..she's a mother of 3 and she can maintain her figure exactly the same as when I first met her 13 years ago.

I experienced nothing but improvement to my own self...

1st/2nd DAY
  • when I don my PB set for the first time, I felt like a robot, but in actual fact, people see me like normal...but more CURVACIOUS maybe :) none of my colleuge or family members notice any abnormal walking/posture, except for my hubby...
  • I had a very mild degree of scoliosis, which you will see more obvious on the X-ray.

Hence, the slumped posture that I have.

With PB, it gave me a proper posture..not only when I walk, but also when I sit.

When we sit with a good posture, it gives a good impression and you will look professional too.

  • first and second day was the hardest cos I wasn't used to wear it myself yet. I had my husband to help me..especially with the long bra. To all single ladies out there, don't worry. There's a trick to wearing it...it's easy peasy!
  • the waist nipper has 3 hooks, and I used the 2nd hook soo that I won't feel too tight and it gave a nice grip to my body. If you feel uncomfortable it's either the size of the corset is wrong, or you wear it too tight
  • I noticed that I burp and passed flatus (farted) a lot..in simpler words, buang angin :) it feels good you know :)
3rd DAY
  • I already started to wear it by myself. I got my move and groove, and it's as easy as wearing your normal undergarments
  • I felt more and more comfortable with it. It fits my body perfectly, the cloth is not thick, and I don't feel hot at all. Mind you, I'm working in a government hospital where most of the wards are aircond-less

1st WEEK
  • I can't LIVE without my PB!!!..haha..yesss!!PB is very addictive. PB has now replaced all my undergarments. Out goes my La Senza, Xixili, Triumph and what not.
  • I feel comfortable with it..sleeping with it, running, walking, eating, going to toilet etc.
  • I noticed that I feel full faster. I'm not like my usual self where I would use to shove food down my food pipe.

2nd WEEK
  • I could see some changes..I noticed my waist nipper getting loose. From the 2nd hook, I moved to the 3rd hook hook :)
  • My spare tyres were deflated. No more lipatan2 degil ;p
  • I lost 2 inches around my waist and buttock!! and that was my main target when I chose to start wearing PB
  • Husband complimented how my legs look slimmer, smaller, and firmer!!!..*grins*
  • Cellulites around my legs are less visible...AMAZING!!! I know!!

3rd WEEK & PRESENT
  • Had my first menses while wearing PB without any PMS (pre menstrual syndromes). No crying episodes (call me weird, but I'll sure will cry sometimes for no reason when the time of the month came)..I don't feel moody or tired
  • Period pain are much lesser compared to before
  • I can fit in my old pants..*happy*
  • I don't have much cravings for food as bad as before...hehe. I somehow eat less nowadays and I like that. Still I enjoy good food :)
  • My 'love-handle' is completely gone! that was the culprit that I had difficulty getting rid off looooooooooong time ago...begone you, now!! hehe

I'm in my 4th week of wearing PB..and am still excited for more new changes that I anticipate. This weekend will be the perfect time to weight myself and I'm hoping for the best :)

For those who have tried but have failed to loose weight, worry not! There is still hope. Try out this corset, cos it really works!!!

But ladies, there is something I would like to add, just being slim from the outside is not enough. We have to exercise for a healthy heart.

I KNOW I LOVE MY HEART!!

So girls, if any of you out there who would like to give PB a try, don't shy away from your keyboard and drop me an email. I'll ring you ASAP.

Slimming methods

Losing weight is a simple matter of burning more calories than what you eat. If it were really simple, none of us would have weight problem, right?

Weight loss can be a struggle for us nowadays, since long hours spent on working, we barely have time for ourselves. Plus, we're so comfortable living in what people call, a sedentary lifestyle., and most of the time we love to pamper ourselves rather than panting ourselves to burn calories...that includes ME!!

Let alone for those who juggles for work and a family. Me myself could not imagine when the time comes for my family to expand, and I have an extra heads to take care off...it scares the hell out of me!

TIME is a major factor that hinders us...and our will power too. Thus, most of us opted for something drastic to see results; diets, pills, slimming corset, fitness gadgets, personal trainer, private slimming program, etc.

Slimming methods can be divided into 2, non-surgical and surgical methods, which are strongly advertised in the media today, for example liposuction, that I'm sure you all have heard of before.

Non-surgical method such as diet, pills, exercise, and other proven activities are still what most people prefer. Choosing the best slimming method, however, is a personal issue. It is chosen based on ones preference, and how much they can commit to it.

DIET
Dieting means you have to eat moderately, but not to STOP eating. Eat less carbs, mainly comes from rice (oh..I couldn't live without eating rice in a day!), get more protein, preferably white meat (ahhh...I couldn't resist the succulent, juicy, medium well, rib eye!), and take plenty of fresh fruits (I'm so lazy when it comes to cutting the fruits) and vegetables. The more colourful your fruits and veges are, the richer the vitamin and minerals content.

Many people may not know how to succeed in dieting without starving themselves. Some would avoid eating and letting themselves into starvation, where in this state your body is trying to conserve more energy by reducing metabolism. The body also will break down glycogen (storage form of glucose) to get source of energy. Eventually when your glycogen stores gets exhausted, there will be rapid breakdown of your protein, mainly from the bulk of your muscle.

Yes, you will feel thinner, but your body will become weaker.

It is best to modify your normal diet, rather than changing radically to a new diet. I know it's difficult to maintain a diet that doesn't 'click' to your taste bud..especially our Asian taste buds :)

Drinking lots of water also essential as it can help to increase your metabolic rate.

PILLS

Slimming pills are the fastest weight loss solution. Too good to be true?

There are many brand out there which are selling like hot-cakes. Depending on the brand, it contains different active ingredients to help maximize the calories burn in your body.

For example;
(i) Fat binders - it works by preventing fat being absorbed into your body. It binds with the fat molecules that comes from food and becomes too large to be absorbed. Therefore, it will be eliminated from the body.

(ii) Appetite suppressants - it suppresses your cravings for foods.

(iii) Fat burners - it acts on the existing fat in our body

It sounds very promising, but frankly speaking, it gives fear to me on the foreign chemicals that usually does more damage than good. But, if the product is all natural and has been clinically tested and proven, I would give it a try!

EXERCISE
This is by far the best method amongst all! It's not just the matter of shedding the extra pound, but you will feel good too after bathing in sweats...by exercising also, it can boost your energy, confident level and is form of de-stressor.

Aerobics, weight training, running, swimming...you name it. Choose the activity that you like and enjoy it.

I personally love to exercise. However, nowadays I find it hard to initiate myself to put on my running shoes, get off my butt and jog. Same goes to pilates that I used to constantly do everyday, now me exercise mat was left unattended, collecting dust.

Soo lovelies, which method do you choose? Do share.
